YOUR DATA

Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026

Chatly helps businesses answer website questions, collect leads, and arrange bookings. This policy explains the information we handle and how to contact us.

Who is responsible

Chat2meeting, 8046 Zürich, is responsible for Chatly account, marketing, and billing information. For conversations in a business's installed widget, that business decides why the information is collected; Chatly processes it to provide the service. You can contact us at support@chat2meeting.com.

Information we collect

  • Account email and sign-in details from Supabase Auth.
  • Website URLs, public page content, assistant settings, and usage records supplied by customers.
  • Widget conversations, visitor identifiers stored in browser session storage, leads, and booking details. Customers choose which pages and domains use the widget.
  • Payment status and customer identifiers from Stripe. Card details are collected by Stripe, not stored in Chatly.
  • Technical data such as IP address, request time, and errors used to secure and operate the service.

How we use it

We use data to create website previews, provide AI answers based on the customer's website, deliver leads and bookings, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, send service emails, and improve reliability. Visitor messages and website content are sent to AI and embedding providers only to provide these features. Customers should avoid putting sensitive personal information into website content or chat messages unless they have a suitable basis to do so.

If Microsoft Ads measurement is enabled, its tag loads only after you choose “Allow measurement” in the consent banner. The tag may set measurement cookies and record page visits and trial-start events. You can decline and use Chatly without it, or use “Cookie settings” below to choose again.

Providers and location

Our hosting, database, crawling, AI, email, payment, and rate limiting services are provided by Vercel, Supabase, Firecrawl, OpenRouter and its model providers, OpenAI, Resend, Stripe, and Upstash. The database is planned for US East. These providers may process information outside Switzerland. We assess transfer safeguards and applicable provider terms before public launch. A customer data processing addendum is available here.

Retention

Website previews expire after 24 hours. Customer content is kept while the account is active and until deletion is requested or required for service operation. Conversation, lead, and booking records are scheduled for deletion after 12 months unless a longer period is required to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Stripe retains billing records under its own terms and legal duties.

Your choices and rights

Contact support@chat2meeting.com to ask for access, correction, export, or deletion of your information, or to object to processing where applicable. If your request concerns a business's widget, please name that business so we can help direct the request. You can also clear browser session storage to remove the local visitor identifier and transcript on your device.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
